I apologize for not coming in here to update y'all on how we're all doing. It's been crazy in the Pfeiffer house. As some of you know, the sale of our house fell thru and so after 5 months of being away from our house and living with my parents, we decided to go back home and take our house off the market. This has been a very expensive lesson learned. Which is expenses we REALLY didn't need right now.
If you're selling your property... make sure you put into the contract that you will move out of the house AFTER closing and not a day before. If we had done this we would at least have been in our home and we wouldn't have sold our bed, stove and other needed furniture. Now we had to go out and purchase all this before we could move back in. Ugh.
At first I was really upset and couldn't figure out why God would allow this to happen. Then I started thinking about the whole Ben situation. How God actually saved me and Ben by not healing his heart. And then I realized that God is saying no to a new house right now because he is protecting us from something. And so I have to trust in His plan. We'll get a new house some day... but for now, we'll stay in our original house and wait on God's plan.
One great thing is, is that Benjamin has his own little room now. Although, he's not quite in it yet because there are boxes everywhere. But I can't wait to get it all fixed up for him. It's going to be super cute!!
And it has been great to have our dog, Daisy back home with us too. We have missed her so much. And she told us that she is very glad to be home too! ;)
So between working on websites, taking care of Benjamin and unpacking... mommy is EXHAUSTED! :) So there has been little time to come in and update. But when I do get the time, I'll have more pictures. Benjamin is such a cutie pie! And for the past couple of weeks has really started to interact with us. He likes to mimic what we do (like stick out our tongue) and we do the same to him. His little laugh is ADORABLE!! Wish I had a way to upload that on the site. But, our video camera died so... so much for that! :) We must get one again because these are precious moments I want to keep! |
